PUBLIC PROCUREMENT MANAGEMENT SERVICE

INFRASTRUCTURE DIRECTORATE
Every day, we will monitor both digitally and on-field the selective collection operations and thus protect what matters to all of us: people and the environment.
Through a responsible management of collection operations, our Department will ensure the implementation of the integrated system of selective waste collection from all owners’ associations, schools, markets and public institutions under the Local Council Sector 1/ 1st District.

LEGAL SERVICE, APPROVAL OF DOCUMENTS AND ARCHIVE
Respect, justice and equality. We all want that. Through our legal service we assure you that both the interests of the institution and those of the citizens of the community are honestly represented before the law.
The legality of the Directorate’s activity, the efficient elaboration of the electronic database and the management of the archive are key words within this service.

COMMUNICATION SERVICE
Contributes to the drafting of information materials on environmental topics and environmental education, press releases, manages social media pages and organizes specific activities on consulting citizens and NGOs.
HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT SERVICE
The most important resource of a company: employees. Even though we are not a private company, our team has extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. Each person was admitted to the Directorate following a contest with two tests (written and oral) of the legislation on the administration of public institutions, environmental protection and sanitation. We care about high standards. We are up to date with all national and European regulations on selective collection and recycling.

SECRETARIAT AND REGISTRY OFFICE
Represents the interface between the citizen and the functional structures of the Directorate. The Secretariat and Registry Office is a public service, therefore the public interest takes precedence.
INTERNAL CONTROL COMPARTMENT
Internal control is a total process, not an additional activity, a means to achieve a goal and not an end in itself. The Internal Control Compartment is engaged in meeting the objectives of the Directorate and can provide reasonable assurance that the objectives will be met.
IT AND DPO OFFICE
Provides technical assistance for the use of computer applications. Monitors compliance with all data protection provisions and policies of the institution regarding the protection of personal data.
INTERNAL AUDIT COMPARTMENT
It is based on complex and efficient operations through which all the actions of our Department are translated into terms such as performance and fairness. Our Internal Audit colleagues help us achieve our stated goals. The contribution of the Internal Audit Department consists in promoting a culture regarding the achievement of an effective and efficient management within the public entity.
DIRECTORATE OF WASTE SORTING MANAGEMENT
