Our efforts are focused both in the investment area, as well as information campaigns for citizens. Investments in selective collection infrastructure are the starting point for the efficient management of waste that, inevitably, each of us produces daily.
It is no longer a secret to anyone the importance of selective collection among the population. With relatively little effort to selectively disposing the garbage, we can help reduce pollution, help keep water clean, conserve non-renewable natural resources and reduce energy consumption.
Obtaining money from the biggest packaging producers
DUPSPM S1 has concluded contracts with all organizations that implement the extended producer responsibility for recyclable / reusable packaging (EPR). From the amounts obtained from the large packaging generators, S1/ 1st District will cover part of the sanitation expenses.
DUPSPM 's mission is to actively contribute to the conservation, protection and improvement of the quality of the environment and human health, for the rational use of natural resources, by providing comprehensive waste management services for Sector 1/ 1st District.
Values: Excellence, Innovation, Responsibility, Efficiency, Communication.
Programs and strategies
DUPSPM focuses its efforts on making each of us aware of the impact it has on the environment and on the fact that we are directly responsible for the waste we generate. They are sources of secondary raw materials and by recycling them we contribute to the rational use of natural resources, but at the same time pose a threat to the environment if they are not properly recycled.
